When purchasing, pay attention to the capacity of jumper cables needed to charge the battery. A diesel engine requires more capacity than a petrol engine and therefore needs a heavier cable. In other words: the cable must be thicker. We recommend a cable diameter of at least 25 mm2 for diesel engines. First check the capacity of the car battery and then make your choice. With jumper cables you depend on the battery of another car to generate the steam boost.
